Increasing your intake of foods like sweet potatoes, strawberries and avocados will give your body nutrients that can increase your sunburn fighting powers and prevent damage from those UVB rays.
Another reason your skin loses its ability to avoid those grooves in your skin is that it doesn’t effectively hold moisture.
Two major factors in decreasing the skin’s hydration are lack of sleep and stress. We know there are many reasons to make sure you get enough sleep, including reducing stress, but this is the body’s opportunity to flush out toxins in your body. Not getting enough sleep can also alter the pH of your skin, affecting hydration, and increasing the potential for wrinkles. Added stress in your life also increases cortisol levels and that will decrease the moisture in your skin as well.
