Corinne Wertz, Nurse Practitioner
Corrine received her Masters in Nursing from Kent State University after an already extensive career in medicine as a high-tech RN, working in hospital intensive care units- often as the charge nurse. She has extensive experience in adult critical care, surgical, pre- & post-operative, neurosurgical (brain & spine), neurological including acute stroke, and Neuro-interventional treatment, care and planning.
After 13 years in intensive and critical care specialties Corinne’s experience has brought her to focus on holistic nursing care with incorporation of evidence-based practice and practice standards and integrative medical team cohesiveness to deliver curative outcomes using naturalized and allopathic treatments. As a Nurse Practitioner Corinne can diagnose patient illness and prescribe medication to treat.
Corrine is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Association of Neuroscience Nurses (AANN) , and served as the NEOAANN 2011 Education Chair. She also maintains membership in the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) and received both the Clinical Nurse Excellence Award in Neuroscience Intensive Care 2011 and Sallie Gries Nursing Award 2011 for exceptional neuroscience nursing care.
